WP2 New models to predict spring frost damage

Description: A strong correlation between early bud flush and frost damage has been described in Norway spruce. However, this association was conducted in one-year-old seedlings. Remote sensing technology has been proven as a feasible alternative to score bud flush in conifers. We will fill the knowledge gap by conducting analysis and model prediction for spring frost damage based on bud flush data in trees growing in field trials from multispectral drone images.
